The Powder Coated SnowCatcher is a 16 gauge, metal screw down snow guard that is constructed from 304 grade stainless steel. It has a forward style 4” wide face and a 1.5” wide base fits most 36” panels with minor ribs at least 1.5" apart. The super strong stainless steel construction does not get brittle like cheap fabricated cast guards. A recent ATI test with 2 screws showed that the Standard SnowCatcher held up to an amazing 3923 pounds before screw failure. The integrity of the snow guard was virtually unaffected by the test.
Note that #14 screws are used and the two screw holes are 3/4" on centre left to right (the third hole you may see in photos is not a screw hole, it is used for hanging the units on a rack during powder coating). A 1/16" thick adhesive backed V742 CCF PVC foam sealer base pad is included. Choose a colour and then send us an email with your order number and colour choice. Minimum order is 100 pieces and lead time is 2 to 3 weeks.
